{"id":1643,"date":"2025-12-22T10:05:58","date_gmt":"2025-12-22T10:05:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/szczecincitytours.pl\/waly-chrobrego\/"},"modified":"2026-03-07T12:20:15","modified_gmt":"2026-03-07T12:20:15","slug":"waly-chrobrego","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/szczecincitytours.pl\/en\/waly-chrobrego\/","title":{"rendered":"Wa\u0142y Chrobrego"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Chrobry Embankment &#8211; the heart of the Szczecin skyline<\/p>\n\n<p>The Chrobry Embankment is Szczecin&#8217;s most recognizable observation deck &#8211; about half a kilometer of representative avenues and stairs elevated above the Oder River, offering panoramic views of the port, Lasztownia and bridges.  <\/p>\n\n<p>They were built in the early 20th century on the site of the former Fort Leopold, on the initiative of the mayor Hermann Haken &#8211; hence their former name Hakenterrasse.
